Temakase is looking for a skilled and reliable Sushi Chef to join our team. We are a hand roll-focused concept built around quality, consistency, and a strong guest experience. We value clean execution, attention to detail, and a calm, professional kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality fish, rice, and ingredients for daily service
• Execute hand rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other sushi preparations with consistency
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the sushi station
• Ensure proper food handling and storage standards
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team during service
• Assist with prep, inventory, and maintaining product quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook required
• Strong knife skills and understanding of fish handling
• Knowledge of sushi rice preparation and traditional techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual, professional, and team-oriented
• Weekend and evening availability preferred
• Spanish speaking is a plus
