Overview

• Become part of this legendary NYC foodie destination: a busy, fabulous restaurant and a robust retail section. This iconic NYC Deli with generations of history seeks an experienced, reliable, energetic team player with culinary skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• You will prepare high-quality retail, restaurant, and mail orders, accurately, and quickly, including a variety of salads, eggs, and omelettes.
• If you can also help out with customer service at the counters, thats great!

Schedule & Opportunity

• Tuesday - Sunday + WEEKLY SCHEDULED OVERTIME (AT TIME + 1/2).

DAYTIME hours only. No evenings.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or kitchen roles.
• Restaurant experience & ability to multitask in a high energy, fast paced environment.
• Good knife skills (and ability to sliced smoked fish) is a big plus.
• Spanish a plus.
• If your can also help out at the retail counter and interact with customers, thats even better! .. but not essential.
• REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED.
