A residential healthcare setting in Sausalito is seeking a reliable and experienced Prep Cook / Line Cook to support daily meal preparation for residents and staff. Schedule

• Thursday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
• Saturday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Sunday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Pay & Hours
• Up to $27/hour (approx. $44,928/year)
• 32 hours per week
• Potential for additional hours

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare meals independently for residents and staff in a timely, sanitary manner
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout shifts

Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment

• Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen, storage areas, and coolers
• Follow safety, sanitation, and workplace standards
• Report any hazards or safety concerns
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Requirements

• Previous prep cook and/or line cook experience
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Strong attention to food safety and cleanliness

Positive attitude with good communication skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance
• Must pass background check and 10-panel drug screen (including marijuana)
