Experienced Culinary Professional

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on pizza-making experience, strong restaurant kitchen knowledge, and a passion for delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to company standards
• Stretch, shape, and prepare dough by hand
• Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently
• Prepare sauces, toppings, and ingredients daily
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation
• Assist with inventory control and food preparation
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Maintain consistency during high-volume service periods

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a pizza chef or similar culinary role
• Previous restaurant and commercial kitchen experience required
• Strong understanding of dough fermentation and pizza preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Roman-style, New York-style, or artisan pizza preparation
• Wood-fired or stone oven experience considered an asset
• Culinary training or certifications are an advantage
