Position Overview
- We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cook to join our team. This dual-role position is essential to daily operations, supporting both food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to order in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Set up and break down cooking stations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with basic prep work as needed
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area and kitchen
- Take out trash and recycling
- Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or short order cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized under pressure
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
