- KITCHEN LEAD / LEAD LINE COOK – HIGH VOLUME MEXICAN RESTAURANT (LOS ANGELES)
We are a fast-paced, from-scratch kitchen serving a high volume of guests daily in one of the busiest tourist destinations in Los Angeles. We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, moves with urgency, stays organized, and leads by example.
- This is a hands-on leadership role working directly on the line with an experienced long-term kitchen team.
Ideal candidate Strong high-volume line experience
- Calm under pressure
- Organized and reliable
- Positive attitude and strong communication
- Able to lead shifts and support the team during busy services
- Interested in growing into additional operational responsibilities over time
- Collaborative mindset — must work well with an existing long-term team
- Mexican food experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities may include
- Leading line during service
- Supporting prep and station organization
- Training/supporting cooks
- Maintaining cleanliness and standards
- Helping support kitchen systems and flow
- Potential opportunity to learn ordering/inventory responsibilities over time
