Full Time Sandwich/Line Cook & Food Prep Hill

We are a very busy prepared food shop in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn looking to hire an experienced cook or an eager to learn cook with a great work ethic to join our team. The job is a full-time position consisting of a combination of two days on the line on our sandwich station, and three days doing food prep. It is a fantastic job for someone who wants it and who wants to work with wonderful people. The sandwich station cook is not a forgotten or relegated position. This job is extremely important and we treat it as such. We expect every sandwich to be made to the best of the cook’s abilities, and every customer to leave satisfied. The sandwich station is an open kitchen, which is customer-facing, so you are expected to arrive on team each day, work clean, efficiently, diligently, and follow all Department of Health rules and regulations. The three days of food prep consist of working in both savory & sweet food production. Cutting, chopping, dicing, sauteing, mixing, folding, whisking, baking, you name it we will do it. We are a fully functioning, full-service kitchen. You will have the opportunity to work with great ingredients in a technique-driven kitchen. The best part, we are part of a community.
