Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced line cook who can step onto the line and move with confidence. This is a part-time role ideal for someone who knows their way around a busy service, values clean execution, and doesn’t cut corners when it comes to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to Southern Kitchen standards
Work assigned station efficiently during service (grill, fry, sauté, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with prep work and closing duties as needed
Communicate clearly with team members during service
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to stay composed and focused during high-volume service
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
