Experienced Pizzaiola & Pasta Cook

We are seeking a talented and experienced Pizzaiola to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in pizza preparation and restaurant kitchen operations, along with strong knowledge and experience preparing a variety of pasta dishes.

• This position is ideal for someone passionate about authentic Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas to restaurant standards
• Stretch and prepare dough by hand
• Operate pizza ovens efficiently and safely
• Prepare and cook a variety of fresh pasta dishes and sauces
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
• Assist with prep work, inventory, and kitchen organization
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards
• Work effectively under pressure during busy service hours
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pizzaiola or Pizza Chef

Proven restaurant and kitchen experience required

• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and pizza-making techniques
• Experience preparing various pasta dishes, sauces, and Italian cuisine
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation regulations
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Roman, Neapolitan, or artisan-style pizza
• Wood-fired or stone oven experience considered an asset
• Passion for authentic Italian cooking and fresh ingredients
• Culinary training or certifications are considered an advantage
