Entry Level Assistant Restaurant Manager Wanted

We're Rainhas — a beloved Brazilian steakhouse in the heart of Corona, Queens, and we're growing. With a newly renovated event space and a packed calendar of private dining and group experiences, we need a sharp, motivated Assistant Manager to help us run it all.

What you'll do

Open and close the restaurant, overseeing daily floor operations and service flow

Support hiring, onboarding, and scheduling for front-of-house staff

Assist in coordinating private events, group dinners, and special occasions in our new event spaces

Handle guest concerns with professionalism and turn challenges into positive experiences

Help manage vendor relationships, ordering, and inventory tracking

Keep the team motivated, on-standard, and delivering an exceptional guest experience every shift

Who we're looking for

Natural leader who earns respect on the floor without demanding it

Calm under pressure — busy Saturday nights don't faze you

Strong communicator in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a big plus

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a guest-first mindset

NYC Food Handler's certificate (or willingness to obtain before start date)

The assistant manager job will be 5 days a week, 40-50 hours per week.
