Cook for Backyard Bbq's

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly cook to help with casual backyard dinners about once a month at our home in Santa Monica.

These are relaxed BBQ-style gatherings for around 25–35 guests—nothing overly fancy, just delicious, fresh, crowd-pleasing food (grilled meats, salads, simple sides, etc.).

What we’re hoping to find

Someone with solid cooking skills (especially grilling)

Comfortable cooking for a group

Organized, clean, and easy to work with

Calm, friendly presence around guests

Able to work with a helper (we can provide one if needed)

What the role looks like

Light prep earlier in the day

Cooking/grilling during the event

Simple buffet-style setup

Keeping the kitchen tidy as you go

Details

Frequency: About once a month (usually weekends)

Timing: ~6–8 hours per event

Pay: Hourly, based on experience
