Cafe Line Cook

Perky Beans Café in Leander, TX is hiring a Line Cook to join our growing team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in quality food, and values teamwork.

• While we're best known for breakfast and brunch, we've expanded our menu and hours to include dinner service, offering flexible scheduling opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team to deliver timely orders
• Maintain portion control and minimize food waste
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and proper food storage
• Label, date, and store food correctly
• Keep a clean and organized workstation
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of cooking experience in a restaurant or similar setting
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
