Briny Swine is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position requires attention to detail, creativity in meal preparation, and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Assist with training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other culinary roles within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
