Sushi Server/Waiter Full/Part Time - Belly Fish Coral Gables

• compensation: $24-$26 per hour.
• Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

• Belly Fish is looking for servers to be a part of our Belly Fish Coral Gables location.
• Requirements: At least 1 year server experience (sushi knowledge is a plus!)

• Must be able to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include

• Greeting customers upon arrival at the restaurant
• Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience
• Memorizing the food menu and Beer, Wine and Sake list
• Providing suggestions for food or drink choices to diners
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs and setting tables throughout the shift
• Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables
• Provides information to help with food and beverage selections
• Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner
• Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude and a focus on cleanliness
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Transmits orders to the kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests
• Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to Front of the House Supervisor/host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons
• Respond to customer complaints quickly to resolve them effectively
• Always attend to customers with a smile
