Sous Chef

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, kitchen operations, and team leadership in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and design of food and beverage menus

Produce high-quality dishes with strong presentation and consistency

Ensure kitchen operations run efficiently and meet quality standards

Step in for the Executive Chef when needed to oversee food preparation and service

Resolve issues quickly and maintain smooth kitchen operations during service

Train and manage kitchen staff, create schedules, and evaluate performance

Order and manage inventory and kitchen supplies

Enforce sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards

Maintain a professional and positive attitude with both staff and guests

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume or fine dining environment

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and procedures

Excellent leadership and kitchen management skills

Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure

Familiarity with restaurant management systems and POS software

Culinary degree or certification is a plus
