Hana Grill has been a Sherman Oaks favorite for over 20 years! We’re a fast-casual Japanese restaurant known for fresh, high-quality meals and great service.

• We’re looking for reliable team members to join our busy kitchen and front-of-house:
• Prep Cook – Part-Time Mornings
• Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am – 2pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
• Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed to maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Utilize kitchen equipment and tools safely, including knives and cooking appliances, while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Dish Washing

Requirements

• Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices
• Ability to work mornings and stand for the full shift
• Reliable, positive attitude, and team player
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Cashier / Front of House – On-Call / Emergency Sub
• Flexible position – work when we need coverage for call-outs, no-shows, or busy times.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders at the counter with a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Ring up sales accurately and handle credit transactions
• Prepare and hand out drinks and simple items
• Run food to tables and keep the front area clean and organized
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting

Requirements

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable with a POS system (training available)
• Very reliable and able to come in on short notice
• Friendly personality and team-oriented
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus

• In-person at Sherman Oaks Galleria location
• Must be able to commute to Sherman Oaks, CA 91403
