Cherry Street Coffee House has an open prep cook position in our central production kitchen in Pioneer Square.
If you're reliable and motivated, enjoy working independently, and able to manage your time and prep load this is a perfect opportunity.
Because a lot of the prep work happens independently there's some flexibility with shift times and days, but applicants must be available to work Sundays.
Currently this position is part time with 20-25 hours/week. Additional hours and wages/tips are available for the right candidate in catering, delivery, and cafe work.
Main responsibilities include
Prepping ingredients for use in the kitchen and cafes
Slicing and portioning meats & seafood
Batch cooking of soups and sauces
Ordering and receiving supplies, and tracking inventory
Maintaining cleanliness, health and safety standards
Requirements and Skills
1+ years Kitchen experience
Industry References
