• We are an upscale Mediterranean restaurant in Downey known for our scratch kitchen, authentic recipes, and exceptional hospitality.
• We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with at least 8-10 years in upscale dining or high volume kitchens to join our leadership team.

The Sous Chef will be the right hand to the Executive Chef, managing daily operations, leading a large team, and running the kitchen when the Chef is away. This role requires exceptional culinary skill, leadership, and attention to detail. Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in upscale or fine dining restaurants

Proven leadership and team management experience

• Strong foundation in scratch cooking and Mediterranean cuisine

Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to quality, consistency, and professionalism
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff performance
• Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
• Assist with menu development, ordering, and cost control
• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
