Part Time- Saturday and Sunday - 10AM -6PM. Tue-Friday - 4PM to 8PM optional (flexible)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie boards, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selections, answering questions, and upselling items to enhance their experience
• Handle food safely by following sanitation and food handling guidelines, ensuring cleanliness in all work areas
• Manage cash handling duties with accuracy during transactions, including cashiering and basic math calculations
• Restock deli displays regularly to keep products fresh and appealing while maintaining proper food safety standards
• Support kitchen operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and assisting with food preparation as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or retail environments such as quick service restaurants, grocery stores, or cafés is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS will be advantageous
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
• Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
