Cooks / Cocineros

Leonetta is a 155-seat Mediterranean restaurant located in Murray Hill, Manhattan. We are currently open for dinner seven nights a week and brunch on weekends, and we’re looking for passionate, talented Line Cooks to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume upscale kitchens, works with urgency and consistency, and takes pride in executing quality food in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Set up and properly stock assigned stations for service

• Complete daily prep and station mise en place

• Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team

• Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared to restaurant specifications

• Work directly with the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Sous Chefs

• Maintain clean, organized stations throughout service and properly store leftover product

• Ensure food is executed simultaneously, at a high standard, and in a timely manner

• Follow all sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards

Requirements

• Proven cooking experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant

• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and procedures

• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently under pressure

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset

• Weekend availability is required

• Flexible scheduling availability for morning, brunch, and evening shifts

• Full-time and part-time positions available
