Duties

Lead food preparation and cooking activities on the line, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times

Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and efficiency

Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations

Assist in menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with customer preferences

Oversee catering events and banquet services, coordinating food production to meet event timelines with precision

Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols

Collaborate with restaurant management on shift management, staffing schedules, and operational improvements

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills in food preparation and cooking

Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting, demonstrating leadership and team management abilities

Knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety standards, and inventory management practices within the food industry

Hands-on experience with food service management, catering operations, and menu planning

Familiarity with banquet service, hospitality standards, and restaurant operations is highly desirable

Strong understanding of kitchen equipment usage, food handling procedures, and inventory control systems

Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and maintain a positive work environment
