El Rey Tacos is a Mexican family-owned fast casual restaurant serving tacos and bowls made with quality ingredients like carnitas, barbacoa and cochinita pibil. We focus on traditional flavors and fast, friendly service, creating a place where everyone can enjoy fresh and delicious Mexican food.

We are seeking passionate cashiers to join our team

Requirements

• 1+ years in a similar position in a similar environment

• Reliable and punctual, always following company absence and lateness procedures if unable to do so

• Full time availability, including weekends, nights and holidays

• Experience with Mexican cuisine is a plus

• English speaking a must

• Spanish speaking a plus

• Knowledge of Toast POS a plus

• Strong communication skills and remain calm under pressure

• Work as a team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment

• Help with other duties as needed

Duties

Manage customer queue lines

Count the register - open and closing

Close out the register at night

Accurately input customer orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system

Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently

Maintain cleanliness in front of the house

Ensure we have full stock of beverages and other items

Communicate and work closely with the cooks to ensure order accuracy

Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow

Coordinate catering orders assembly and delivery
