Cafe Opening in South Berkeley Seeking Barista/Manager

We are looking to build a beautiful, design-forward dual-concept coffee and culinary space on the Berkeley/Oakland border. The location is locked in, the design is underway, and we are raising funds.

Now, we need the right partner to bring the coffee side to life. We aren’t looking for a typical manager—we are looking for an entrepreneurial operational partner who wants a real stake in building something special from the ground up.

• Coffee Program: Help build our brand, curate the menu, and build relationships.
• Run the Shop: Manage daily operations, design efficient workflows, and keep standards high.
• Build the Team: Hire, train, and inspire a tight-knit crew of baristas.
• Manage the Business: Keep an eye on labor, inventory, and costs to ensure the business thrives.

Specialty Experience: 3+ years managing a high-quality specialty cafe. You know gear, extraction, and workflow inside and out.

• Business Mindset: You understand margins and scheduling, and you treat the shop like it's your own.
